BCAA's

BCAAs are three amino acids — leucine, isoleucine, and valine — often marketed for muscle recovery and growth.

Does it really work?

Not really. BCAAs alone don’t stimulate muscle protein synthesis effectively because the other essential amino acids are missing. If you already get enough protein or EAAs, BCAAs add little benefit.

Can I get enough in real food?

Yes. All complete proteins (meat, dairy, eggs, soy, etc.) contain BCAAs naturally.

Do I need a supplement for everyday health?

No. BCAAs are mostly overhyped and unnecessary if you’re already eating enough protein.
